| About the Club |

The Four Seasons Rod And Gun Club was formed in the late 1970’s following
a few camping trips by some friends at work. There was summer camping near
Ricketts Glen State Park above Bloomsburg Pa. and various hunting trips to
Pa. as well. These friends invited others to join the group, finally
settling on a membership when it was time for dues. Through a few years of
rousing discussion, we came up with a Charter and Bylaws enabling
incorporation. The "Club" was incorporated as "The Four Season Rod and Gun
Club". A number of members have moved through our ranks, some have
regrettably passed on. We now are welcoming our second generation and all
enjoy what we have put together.
The Club decided to buy some land in the 1980’s for both hunting and camping.
With several promising sites we decided on 21.1 acres in Stevens Point,
Susquehanna, Pa. This property, next to two operating dairy farms, with a
stream, field and mixed wooded terrain turned out to be a great choice. With
some rough improvements, power and a few creature comforts the men have loved
every visit. It became a wonderful spot to raise our kids as well as get
stress relief for all of us.
Now with some of the membership getting older we have started an aggressive
plan (for us) to make our visits more comfortable and safe. We continue to
discuss, plan and build improvements to our place in the mountains for the
enjoyment of our members and guests.
